The unit provides information on the wear properties of paper machine screens, cutting and punching tools as well as roller rakes and blades when these fillers and pigments are used. The Abrasion is only suitable to a certain extend for testing and comparing fillers and pigments with a rhombold structure.The rotary abrader now rotates independently of the mains frequency (50/60Hz) at a standard rotary velocity of 1800 rpm.
